I am a big believer that diet-culture is to blame for much of the obesity and chronic disease in our society.

Diet-culture mantras like “no pain, no gain”, “just do it”, and “you can sleep when you’re dead” have promised us that those who suffer the most are the most successful.

Ideas like these have lead to the popularization of restrictive dieting and excessive exercise for weight loss. The only problem is that because these methods cause people so much suffering, they are impossible to maintain long-term.

As a result, people have tried and failed to lose weight (and keep it off) with these extreme methods many times over. And with each repeated failure, their metabolism, confidence, and willingness to try again has been damaged.

And so we get an obesity epidemic. All because diet culture has pushed these impossible standards.

But, if you’ve struggled to lose weight and keep it off in the past, that doesn’t mean that you’re doomed to repeat your mistakes over and over again for all eternity.

You’re a strong, smart, and resourceful woman that just hasn’t found the right approach and support system for you yet.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help women just like you develop the skills, habits, and mindset needed to finally achieve your goals once and for all!

You can call me Clarissa. I am a health coach, autoimmune warrior, and avid adventurer with over 12 years of experience in the health and wellness field.

And I’ve made it my personal mission to help women escape the diet-culture mentality so they can build healthy habits they actually WANT to stick to – without all the guilt, deprivation and FOMO!

When I’m not coaching amazing women like yourself, you’ll find me outside – hiking, paddling, and hunting for hidden waterfalls on the island of Kauai where I lives with my partner and furry side-kick, Ipo!
